![]() I feel like it's also religious commentary on the fact that religions cling to purity and are quick to shun and shame people who don't fit their definitions of pure. ![]() I have unfortunately known young teens in my highschool years that were in those situations where they felt like dying and like they couldn't get out because they had to keep lying to avoid being attacked by society for their actions. On the other hand it seems like the girl is being forced to sell her body for money just to get by even though it isn't something she enjoys at all. If he doesn't he will be depressed or he won't have any money to live. The boy seems to be using drugs to cope with pain or selling to get by. I see it from a very personal level where youth have been forced into moral paradoxes that seem to have no way out. ![]()
